No Rules Quilting - Mondrian

Mondrian is inspired by the works of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian who popularized this primary colour motif in the 1920's - 30's.

The black sashing between the blocks is pieced, not appliquéd.  The large blocks are ideal for showcasing large print fabrics for a different look.
